The triumph here is a matter of craftsmanship rather than art, but it's rare enough even on that level for a film to be worth celebrating.. Waltz With Bashir isn't only a harrowing anti-war plea, it is also an eloquent and deeply moving argument that it is critical to never forget human atrocity, lest the past be repeated.. It's the movie equivalent of singing 'Onward Christian Soldiers' to those already in the choir.. There's little here to make this stand out in an already well-stuffed genre.....
